WHATS NEW AROUND THE PARK....

July 8th ZOIE OUR RESIDENT PIGEON HAS BEEN SITTING ON 2 INFERTILE EGGS SO CHARLIE TOOK PITY ON HER AND PUT 2 BANTY CHICKEN EGGS UNDER HER. WELL THE CHICKENS HAVE HATCHED AND ZOIE IS PROUD AS PUNCH. WHO KNOWS HOW THIS WILL END.
Aug.9th ZOIE HAS BEEN TRYING TO TEACH HER BABY(CHICKEN) HOW TO FLY. HE SURE TRIES BUT CANT QUITE FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG.
We got 3 baby squirrels from 2 different nests Tues. 8/31 morning. 2 brothers and 1 little girl.
Today(Oct.5) We have had the boys for 6 weeks. The baby girl didnt make it. See pic. taken today. Sam has his arm around Elliott.
They are starting to try some real food.
On March 1st, we released Sam & Elliott into the Park.We hung the nest box that was in the cage, on a tree and they go into at night. We see Sam alot and Elliott, not so much.
AUG. 9th
WE ARE CURRENTLY BOTTLE FEEDING.
2 BABY FAWNS, 1 BABY SQUIRREL and 1 BABY RACCOON.
4 BABY POSSUMS WEANED BUT IN LOBBY
